NEW DELHI: As the partner State at the fortnight long India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2006 due to open at Pragati Maidan from November 14, Andhra Pradesh would be showcasing its industrial development potential and rich cultural diversity at the annual event.

Since the theme for the IITF-2006 is "small-scale industry and tourism", the State Government is making every possible effort to invite investments into these two sectors along with other areas.
The Andhra Pradesh Government has lined up a series of activities during the fair to showcase the State's rich cultural diversity. These include rendering of various folk arts in the pavilion on a daily basis and rendering of classical dances on five special functions. There will also be programmes of kuchipudi dance, ballet and Telugu Vaibhavam ballet.
Two seminars for industry in collaboration with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry on investment opportunities in the State in industry and tourism sectors will also be organised during the IITF.
