HYDERABAD: Former Minister and Telugu Desam Party leader of Kadapa district P. Rama Subba Reddy, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment on the charge of a double murder, has been acquitted by Justice Bilal Nazki of the High Court. In his judgment on Monday, Justice Bilal Nazki declared that the prosecution could not prove the charge beyond reasonable doubt. All the seven others accused along with Mr. Rama Subba Reddy were also acquitted of the charge. There was jubilation among supporters of Mr. Rama Subba Reddy in his Jammalamadugu constituency when they heard the judgment.
