`World Usability Day' being observed today

BANGALORE: The Usability Professional Assocation (UPA) worldwide observes November 14 as World Usability Day. "Usability'' is a recently coined software buzzword to denote how good a software product is in use. It is applied to web sites, computer portals and even car dashboards to indicate ease of use. Usability Engineering is now closely linked to the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) of certain Software Companies. Persistent Systems a leading global software product developer fuelled by Indian talent, is hosting the first ever World Usability event in India on Tuesday in Pune, to share its experience of Usability Engineering.
