Rudolph Valentino wins

HYDERABAD: Rudolph Valentino (Suraj Narredu up) claimed the P. Veereshwar Rao Memorial Cup, the feature event of the races held here on Monday (Nov. 13). The winner is owned by M/s. Yogesh Kumar, P. Anil Kumar Kishen and B.S. Kumar. Prasad R. trains the winner.

Fine & Suspension:

In the Swarna Mukhi Plate, N.M. Sequeira (Indrajit) was fined Rs.1,000 for shifting in at about 700 metres causing interference to Ambiens (A.Ramana).

In the Brave Dancer Plate, the stewards suspended jockey A.Ramana (Dream Pal) from riding in races with effect from Nov. 23 to 27, 2006 both days for careless riding in that he persisted in the use of the whip on the left when the gelding was inclined to drift in from about 300 metres, in the process bumping and causing severe interference to Taste Of India (A.Pavan Kumar). Permitted to ride work.
