Install streetlights

The service road to Vazhavallan does not have streetlights. At night it is pitch dark and a walk down this stretch is very difficult for residents.

Schoolchildren and locals are the worst affected.

Actually, this service road connects us to the arterial road. I request the authorities concerned to rectify the lights soon.

Fire accidents

Fire accidents in cracker unit have become a common these days. Only a month back there was a fire accident at Sivakasi cracker unit and recently another six persons died in a fire.

Wherever there is a fire accident, the Government announces solatium to the affected families, but no amount can compensate precious human life.

Instead, the authorities concerned should make frequent visits to cracker units to assure that safety measures are followed strictly.
