Short and Negi to play blitz games

NEW DELHI: British Grandmaster Nigel Short will take on India's 13-year-old GM Parimarjan Negi in two blitz games as part of a promotional bid by Delhi Chess Association here on Tuesday.

The GMs will play after the closing ceremony of the Asian junior chess championship at the Bapu Samaj Sewa Kendra.

Later, Parimarjan Negi and Woman Grandmaster Tania Sachdev will give a simultaneous display, each facing 15 junior players. Interested players may contact Vishal Sareen, ph: 981814060.
