Air France Paris-Chennai daily flights soon

CHENNAI:
Enthused by the positive response to its recently launched tri-weekly service between Paris and Chennai, Air France is keen to make it a daily affair soon.
Air France senior vice-president for Asia Pacific Region, Jean-Louis Pinson, who was here for with the formal launch party on Friday, told The Hindu that the European carrier was also showing keen interest in making Kolkata its sixth Indian destination.
"We have adequate operating rights and Air France has not yet optimally utilised air bilateral rights", Mr. Pinson pointed out.
The introduction of the Paris-Chennai-Paris non-stop service not only helped the travelling public in the State but was also a boon to those in Puducherry.
