Woman found murdered in house

BANGALORE: Kavitha (30), mother of three, was found murdered at her house in Roopena Agrahara in Madivala Police Station limits on Monday morning. She had been stabbed in the abdomen. The police suspect that her husband Murthy could have fled with the children after killing her.The Madivala Police have registered a case.

In another incident, Padma (28), mother of two, died after her husband allegedly slapped her at their house in Ramamurthynagar Police Station limits on Sunday night.

The police said that following a quarrel, her husband Venkatesh , a labourer, had slapped her. As Padma fell unconscious, her neighbours took her to a hospital, but she was declared brought dead. The Ramamurthynagar Police have registered a case.

Boy dies

Tabrez (12) was killed after a man slapped him in Shivajinagar Police Station limits on Sunday.

Tabrez and his cousin were playing on 8th Cross, Shivaji Road, around 5 p.m. Following a quarrel, Babu (28) allegedly slapped Tabrez, son of Nawab Jan of `A' Street in Shivajinagar.

As Tabrez collapsed, his cousin rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared brought dead, the police said. Tabrez's relatives attacked Babu and two of friends, Fayaz and Ahmed, with weapons. Babu, who was severely injured, has been hospitalised.

The Shivajinagar Police have registered a case of murder against Babu and an attempt to murder case against Tabrez's relatives for attacking Babu.

Body found

Krishna (30), an employee of a garment factory, was found murdered in Thoremoodalapalya in Nelamangala police station limits in Bangalore Rural district on Monday.
