Offering children a joyful bus ride

Staff Reporter

City Swaps launches Kids' Special Service today

BANGALORE: From now on, children can hop on and hop off a special tourist bus in style. They can go around the city and visit major tourist spots while listening to commentary by guides.

The International Style Hop on Hop off Tourist Bus Service "City Swaps" will launch its Kids' Special Service on the occasion of Children's Day on November 14.

The route will cover major attractions such as Bangalore Palace, Lal Bagh, museum and Cubbon Park, in addition to the regular tourist spots covered by City Swaps.

The Kids' Special bus will be a regular feature of City Swaps, wherein children can customise and add that extra zing to their parties with special events such as fashion and magic shows and fun-filled games.

Exploring city

The birthday rides are a unique way of exploring the city with rich commentary on the hot spots by City Jockeys. According to Avinash Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Conceptree Creations Pvt. Ltd., the company that started City Swaps, the Kids' Special bus has been specially customised following the heavy demand for hosting birthday parties and arranging special rides for schoolchildren.

To attract the attention of children for a fairy tale ride through the city, the bus had popular cartoon characters on its exterior, he said. "Children can look forward to celebrating their special day in style. The buses are specially decked up with streamers and there are special events on board such as fashion and magic shows and dumb charades, through which they can win loads of goodies from City Swaps," he added.
