Heavy rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at many places over coastal Tamil Nadu and at a few places over Kerala. Isolated rainfall occurred over interior Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over Telangana and Karnataka. Chidambaram (Cuddalore dt.) and Kavali recorded heavy rainfall of 11 and 8 centimetres respectively.

Forecast (valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and at a few places over interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south interior Karnataka, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during next 48 hours.
