Dasari visits Kothagudem

KHAMMAM: Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Dasari Narayana Rao said on Tuesday that an expert panel would probe the roof fall in Venkateshkhani.

He visited the accident victims' families in Kothagudem and consoled them.

Later he said action would be initiated against those responsible for the accident. He said the Ministry would look into the scope for enhancing the ex gratia amount for the four workers killed in the accident. The incident would be reviewed at the national level meeting on mine safety scheduled for November 17, he said.
