Globetrotters at it yet again

Principal Correspondent

BANGALORE: For the second day in succession, the Bangaloreans screamed and laughed to their delight as the world-renowned `sportstainment' basketball players from the US enthralled a much larger crowd at the Sree Kanteerava indoor stadium here on Tuesday evening.

Globie, the friendly mascot, was at it yet again. And the crowds would not have enough of him. The mascot was soon asked to work his magic all round the world by joining the "world's greatest basketball show".

Globie was at his dancing best but the loudest cheer was reserved for Globie's big brother `Big G', who had his own version of dance and tumble during the interval.

`Special' Kevin Hewitt with his jugglery skills and sense of humour did not spare even the lone referee — Barry Kent.

All in all it was two fun-filled evenings for the basketball-loving Bangaloreans.
