Veda parayanam

Coimbatore: Sri Chandrasekara Bharathi Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Veda Vidyalaya (CCVV) Trust will organise a Krishna Yajur Veda Moola Parayanam, which includes Samhita and Shaakha (Braahmanaa) from November 16 to December 29 on the Veda Patshala premises. The parayanam is being organised for world peace and prosperity. Veda Pandits will also take part in the parayanam. It will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on all the 44 days.

Coimbatore: Bank of India, Coimbatore Zone, will organise an SME and Exporters' Meet on November 16 at Jenney Club at 9 a.m.

Celebrations

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Basava Samiti will conduct triple celebrations on November 19 at Rajasthan Kalyana Mandapam at 10.30 a.m. A coin will be released and educational assistance will be given to the toppers.

ERODE: Death toll in the bus-lorry collision on Monday went up to two on Tuesday. On Monday a private bus proceeding from Erode to Palani and a sugarcane-laden lorry from Kangeyam collided head on at Chennimalaipalayam near Arachalure.
