Seminar to debate water management

Bangalore: The Bangalore branch of Indo-French Technical Association (IFTA) has organised a seminar here on Thursday at Alliance Francaise, to mark 40 years of the collaboration.

The theme of the seminar is "Sustainable management of water". The seminar will dwell upon ways in which aquatic plants can be used for water treatment and how artificial wetland can be used for domestic sewage treatment. The seminar will be inaugurated by Jacques Dasset, Project Manager, UBI France. K. Kasturirangan, MP and former Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation, is the chief guest.
