MACHILIPATNAM: Krishna District Collector Navin Mittal on Tuesday advised officials of the Agriculture Department to assess crop loss carefully and take photographs of damaged farm fields. Addressing a meeting here, Mr. Mittal wanted them to complete the process in time in all cyclone-affected mandals and ensure accuracy while compiling the data. Joint Director of agriculture Jagadeeswar Reddy, Project Director of the District Rural Development Agency M. Ravi Kumar and others were present. Addressing a press conference, Mr. Jagadeeswar Reddy said that standing crop was fully damaged in 1.83 lakh hectares in 33 mandals in the district.
