Foreign language courses

The University College of Arts and Social Sciences is conducting four-month junior and senior diploma courses in French, German and Russian. Last date for submission of applications is December 8. For more details contact the Office of Foreign Languages on 27682302.

Haj camp

A training camp for Haj pilgrims was held at Masjid-e-Sahifa, Azampura, on Sunday by the State Haj Committee in collaboration with the All India Jamiatul Mashaik (AIJM). A large number of pilgrims attended the camp. A book on `Umra, Haj and Ziarah' compiled in English was released on the occasion.

CELT classes

The Centre for English Language Training (CELT), Osmania University, is holding a one-day workshop on `Pronunciation and Accent Neutralisation Skills' on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its premises in Osmania University. For details call on 27070822, 27682354.

CIFL valedictory

The valedictory of 20th Resource Persons' course would be held at 12 noon on November 15, the Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages (CIFL) informed in a statement here on Tuesday. The course had 38 participants from different States including Nagaland, Assam, Gujarat and West Bengal.

Housing application

The last date for submitting applications at the notified eSeva centres for the Rajiv Gruhakalpa HUDA MIG Housing Scheme at Jawaharnagar has been extended up to November 30 without any fresh sale of applications. Persons who have already purchased the applications may avail this opportunity.
