HYDERABAD: The GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited's `Know Your Airport' quiz and elocution contest on Tuesday was an ideal platform for students of the twin cities to express their views on how an airport should be constructed and the kind of services to be provided for passengers at an airport. While one student called for an exclusive play station for children in the departure lounge, another opined for two runwaysas it would aid in reducing both fuel consumption and the traffic problem. Some 70 students from various schools participated in the competition that was organised on the occasion of Children's Day on the premises of the upcoming Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. While Shivangi Sharma of Meridian School for Boys and Girls, Hyderabad bagged the first prize in the elocution contest, Nimisha Gupta and M.Rahul of Sivani International School were the winners of the quiz competition. Ace Badminton player P.Gopi Chand and Chief Operating Officer GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited T.Srinagesh gave away the prizes.
