Gulf Air begins chartered freighter services

MUMBAI: Gulf Air Cargo has commissioned a series of scheduled freighter charters beginning November 15 in order to meet the demand during this traditional peak season. An A300 aircraft with a 40-tonne capacity has been chartered from ACT Airlines that will operate on a twice-weekly basis between Bahrain/ Chennai/Bangalore/Amsterdam, according to a release.
