Sai Advantium Pharma plans expansion

HYDERABAD: Sai Advantium Pharma, a leading player in contract research and manufacturing for the pharma and biotech companies, is embarking on an expansion in the next 12-18 months by investing $15-20 million. The investment will be used for upgrading its existing facilities and adding new ones, besides services. The company (previously known as Sai Life Sciences which in July acquired the Pune-based Advantium Pharma to get the new name) is looking for a strategic partner, K. Ranga Raju, Chairman and Managing Director, told a press conference here on Wednesday.
