DSCL ties up with IEC

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure firm, DS Constructions Ltd. (DSCL) has tied up with Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) to bid for ultra mega power projects. Under the agreement, DSCL and IEC, the sole integrated electric utility in Israel, would jointly bid for ultra mega power projects in India, a company release said. IEC would hold a minimum of 26 per cent in the SPV that will be incorporated subsequent to the projects being awarded. The consortium had already submitted a preliminary bid for the 4,000 MW Krishnapatnam project in Andhra Pradesh and plans to bid for more such projects in Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
