NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party's Central Election Committee decided here on Wednesday to contest both the Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh for which by-elections are to be held on December 4. It finalised the candidature of Vidyasagar Rao for the Karimnagar constituency and Pakalapati Sanyasi Raju for Bobbili. Of the 11 Assembly seats in the 10 States that are going to polls, the BJP will contest five. In Roing (Arunachal Pradesh) the party's candidate is Raje Menjo; in Kota (Chhattisgarh) it is Bhupendra Singh; the BJP candidate for the Chimur seat in Maharashtra is Dr. Ramesh Gajbhe while in Dingarpur (Rajasthan) the candidate finalised is Surmal Parmar. The Chamundeshwari seat in Karnataka has been left for its ally, Janata Dal (Secular) and in West Bengal the party will support the Trinamool candidate.
