Bangalore: The Suvarna Karnataka Employment Education Scheme would be formally launched by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa at a public function in Bangalore on November 23. Minister for Major and Medium Industries Katta Subramanya Naidu told presspersons here on Wednesday that along with the large number of unemployed educated youth queuing up in front of district industries centres seeking employment, the industries represented by their associations were also seeking the cooperation of the Government in finding suitable youth for employment. The number of youth sought by the industries had surpassed the expectations of the Government. The Government had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Karnataka Association of Small-scale Industries, the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Confederation of Indian Industry and several other industries associations.
