Lucknow: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) received a jolt on Wednesday as two of its suspended Lok Sabha members and two expelled MLAs joined Samajwadi Party. The MPs are Bhalchandra Yadav and Ramakant Yadav, and the MLAs are Kuldeep Singh Senger and Kapildeo Singh Yadav. The four former BSP members announced their decision to join the Samajwadi Party at a press conference in the presence of PWD Minister and party State general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav. The four leaders were suspended or expelled from the BSP last week by party chief Mayawati on charges of anti-party activitiesThey, however, denied the charges and said they had quit the BSP as it was allegedly helping the BJP and other communal forces.
