RTI Commissioner pulls up Government officials for `laxity'

NIZAMABAD: Commissioner of Right to Information R. Dileep Reddy has taken to task the authorities in as many as 11 Government offices in Kamareddy for not keeping available manuals on the RTI Act at their offices and not providing information on notice boards.

Mr. Reddy visited 13 offices and found, except in the Revenue Divisional Office and the Area Hospital, arrangements were made to implement the Act in no other office.
