KATHMANDU: The High-Level Probe Commission (HLPC) in Nepal has implicated King Gyanendra in the atrocities committed during the April movement for democracy and the embezzlement of resources to suppress the movement. However, according to media reports, the Commission has not recommended any action against the King. The Commission is yet to submit its final report to the Government. The Commission will, however, recommend action against the King's Home Minister Kamal Thapa for the ``murder and embezzlement of state resources.'' It will also recommend action against Deputy Chairmen in the King's Cabinet, Dr. Tulsi Giri and Kriti Nidhi Bista and other senior ministers for the involvement in corruption and embezzlement of state resources.
