Speaking at a meeting of the officials of the Labour Department to review the progress of the various schemes here recently, he called upon the officials to give top priority to putting an end to the child labour menace.

Special campaigns should be taken up to inform the people on the ill effects of employing children below 14 years as domestic help, he said.
