HYDERABAD: The annual `Hyderabad 10K' and `Half Marathon' will be held on November 26 (Saturday) and this year, the organisers are once again expecting an enthusiastic response from sports loving people of the city. The Hyderabad 10K run will start from People's Plaza on the Necklace Road at 7 a.m. and end there while the half marathon will start from People's Plaza at 6 a.m. till Charminar and back.
Celebrities expected
Some celebrities too are expected to participate in the run. At a press conference on Wednesday, G. Vivekanand, Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry, Andhra Pradesh chapter; Harishwar Reddy of Citadel, Prasad Challa, president, Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), said the event helped in branding the city while also promoting healthcare.
Registrations
Mr. Prasad said registrations for participation could be done at all post offices, Subway outlets, Apollo Pharmacies and eSeva centres. Fee for individuals was Rs. 200 for either of the events and there were varied rates for teams coming from colleges, clubs, apartments, corporates, etc. Registration kit includes T-shirt and participation certificates for finishers.
