Voters' list revision begins

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The process of revising the voters' lists in the Thiruvananthapuram West, East and North Assembly constituencies and in the Kazhakuttam constituency began on Wednesday, said a press note issued by the Thiruvananthapuram Tahsildar here.

Applications for adding/deleting names from the voters' list and for making any other changes will be accepted at all village/taluk offices till December 14.

In addition to this, applications will be accepted at all polling stations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on November 18, 19, 25 and 26. Those who complete 18 years of age as on January 1, 2007, those whose names do not figure in the voters' list, those who wish to effect a change of address and those who wish to correct any mistake in the list should apply in the prescribed forms which are available free of cost.

The voters' list is available for reference at all taluk and village offices during all working days and on November 18, 19, 25 and 26, the press note added.
