Rajahmundry: Joint Collector C. Sudarshan Reddy on Thursday warned ration depot dealers against irregularities. He said that stern action would be taken against them and he would not hesitate to cancel the dealership of those facing serious allegations. Addressing a review meeting of ration dealers and civil supply staff of Rajahmundry and Rampachodavaram revenue sub-divisions on Thursday, Mr. Reddy said the government was spending Rs.1,400 crores on subsidy through ration shops in way of rice, kerosene and other essential commodities. He said that he received several complaints of rice being sold in black market and difference in weight.
