TIRUPATI: A man named V. Balaji (25) committed suicide by consuming pesticide in a TTD choultry at Tirumala. The body of Balaji, who belonged to Chittipalle of Kuppam constituency in the district, was recovered on Wednesday from the room, which was found bolted from inside. In a letter left behind, Balaji stated that he resorted to the extreme step for failure in winning either a Nobel prize or a Bharat Ratna. The Tirumala Two Town police are investigating.
