Minorities corporation releases funds

HASSAN: District manager for the Backward Classes and Minorities Development Corporation Shivanna has said that Rs 1.16 crore has been released through the Devraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation and Minorities Development Corporation. This will benefit 513 beneficiaries in the district. From the corporation, Rs. 1.70 crore was released to 350 beneficiaries.

This includes Rs 69.41 lakh under the Chaitanya Scheme for 142 beneficiaries, Rs. 1 lakh under micro credit loans for 10 beneficiaries, Rs 22.56 lakh for 188 beneficiaries under the new Swarnimala Yojana and Rs 7.73 lakh for 10 beneficiaries under the Ganga Kalyana Yojana. Mr. Shivanna said that under the Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation, Rs. 15.21 lakh is provided to 163 beneficiaries. Of this, Rs. 9.67 lakh is given to 163 beneficiaries under the Swavalambana Yojana and Rs. 2 lakh for 20 micro credit loans.
