HYDERABAD: The Central Government has released the following list of holidays for its offices in 2007.

Jan. 1- Id-ul-zuha; Jan. 15 - Pongal; Jan. 26 - Republic Day; Jan. 30 - Muharram, Feb.16 - Mahasivaratri; Mar. 20 - Ugadi; Mar. 31- Mahavir Jayanti; Apr. - Milad-un-nabi; Apr. 6 - Good Friday; May 2 - Buddha Purnima; Aug. 15 - Independence Day; Oct. 2 - Gandhi Jayanti; Oct. 14 - Id-ul-fitr; Oct. 21- Dasara; Nov. 9 - Diwali; Nov. 24 - Guru Nanak's Birthday; Dec. 21- Id-ul-zuha (*) and Dec. 25 - Christmas.
