Young World painting contest finals tomorrow

BANGALORE: The finals of The Hindu Young World on-the-spot Painting Competition 2006 for Juniors (classes IV to VII) and Seniors (classes VIII to X) will be held on November 18 at the Bishop Cotton Girls' School, St. Marks Road. Individual letters have been sent to the candidates selected in the preliminary rounds. The finals will start at 10 a.m.. The participants should come to the venue along with the letter half an hour before the scheduled time. The prize distribution ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Apart from the first, second and third prizes, there will be seven consolation prizes in each category. All winners will get a gift hamper from the Lotte BooProo, who are presenting the competition.
