Stanley Works forays into India

CHENNAI: Stanley Works, a $4 billion global market leader of industrial and consumer tools, is entering the Indian market to address the demand for tools for both industrial and household applications. Donald R. McIlnay, Senior Vice-President and President of Industrial Tools/Emerging Markets Group, said in a release that, "the focus of Stanley has been to provide the most reliable and easily available hand tools in any market. Stanley tools save time, mechanize manual effort and raise production levels, which would serve to aid growth in manufacturing in India."
