NCP strategy for byelection soon

Staff Reporter

GREETINGS: Nationalist Congress Party leader K. Karunakaran calls on Thrissur Archbishop Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhi in the city on Friday. The sacerdotal golden jubilee of the Archbishop is being celebrated on Saturday.

THRISSUR: The Nationalist Congress Party's political strategy for the Thiruvambadi byelection will be declared within a week, NCP leader K. Karunakaran has said.

Mr. Karunakaran told presspersons here on Friday that the NCP State committee would be constituted within two days.

"There will be serious changes in Kerala politics. The NCP will emerge as a formidable force. Both the Left Democratic Front and the United Democratic Front will need the support of the NCP to pull it off,'' Mr. Karunakaran said.
