A team of doctors and paramedical staff has been deputed to each HSC for general health check up and treatment of all diseases.

A counselling centre has also been established at these centres for HIV, alcoholism, drug addiction, hypertension, diabetes, smoking, tubectomy and anaemia.

Under the scheme a health exhibition would be established to create awareness on chikungunya, dengue, malaria, filaria, HIV, tuberculosis, diabetes, leprosy, cancer, blindness control, safe drinking water and personal hygiene.

A minimum of 1,000 patients would be treated in each camp, Mr. Bansal added.
