Ram Mohan to officiate

VIJAYAWADA: Sports Authority of India coach Y. Ram Mohan of Vijayawada will officiate the gymnastics event as a judge at the Doha Asian Games, according a Gymnastics Federation of India release.

Gymnastics trials

The trials to select the u-14 and u-17 gymnasts for the Krishna District school games team will be held at the V.P. Siddhartha Public School gymnasium hall on Saturday at 3 p.m. The selected district team will take part in the State meet. Contact Y. Ram Mohan, SAI coach, ph: 98859 55905.

Krishna in last four

Guntur defeated West Godavari by 33 runs, while Krishna defeated Vizianagaram by 36 runs to enter the semifinals of the Tata-Indicom- Eenadu cricket tournament at the IGMC Stadium here on Friday.

The scores: Guntur 112 for nine in 20 overs bt West Godavari 79 in 16.3 overs; Krishna 135 in 20 overs bt Vizianagaram 99 for eight in 20 overs.
