Mumbai: Authorities at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda have told the All India Football Federation (AIFF) that the ground will not be available for the National Football League (NFL) 2006-07 slated to start on January 5 because the third One-Day International between India and Sri Lanka is to be played there on February 14. Prof. Ratnakar Shetty, BCCI Chief Administrative Officer, said there were no written rules, but in the normal course it would take two months to prepare the outfield, pitch and put in place all the facilities for an international match. The AIFF has convened a meeting in Goa on November 25 to thrash out the venues for the NFL. The AIFF may schedule matches at Kozhikode, Bangalore or Delhi. Special Correspondent
