HUBLI: Arun Joy of CITY Institute, Mangalore, created record in 110m hurdles on the second day of the Ninth Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences inter-collegiate athletic meet KIMS Ground here on Friday. Arun Joy covered the distance in 15.86s, beating the earlier record of 16.32s. The results: Men 20km walk: Arun Prasad (2:21:37); 1,500m: Pramod (4:46:19); 400m: Pramod (55.88s); 110m hurdles: Arun Joy (15.86s); Long jump: Arun Joy (6.09m). Women 5km walk: Nimmy Bhadran (39.22s): 400m: Archana (1:20:35); 1,500m: Archana Pagad (6:51:53): 100m: Pavitra (22.44s): Long jump: Reshmi Chincholi (3.89m).
