Seeking clearance for preparing Sabarimala master plan

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) will approach Project Tiger Director Rajesh Gopal seeking clearance for preparing a master plan exclusively for Sabarimala, Pampa and Nilackal on the basis of a master plan submitted by the Ecosmart India Limited.

Addressing a press conference at Sabarimala Sannidhanam on Friday, TDB president G. Raman Nair and member Punalur Madhu said the 1,500-page master plan submitted by Ecosmart was an exhaustive one aimed at providing facilities for Sabarimala pilgrims in different parts of the State.

However, the company had looked into only the design aspect of various projects to be implemented in Nilackal, Pampa and Sabarimala and kept mum on the detailed plan.
