NEW DELHI: Taking a serious note of renting out trust properties to commercial concerns in the Qutub Institutional Area of South Delhi, the Delhi High Court on Friday directed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to file a detailed report about misuse of three buildings belonging to three different non-profit making societies in the area. Observing that the three trusts had deviated from their aims and objectives for which the DDA had allotted land to them, a Division Bench of the Court comprising Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Kailash Gambhir directed the DDA to apprise the Court of the names of the original allottees of the three plots by next Monday. The Bench said the misuse of the trust properties appeared like a big scam on the patterns of the CGHS scam in the Capital.
