Nod for new land policy

Aims at making the process more transparent in Punjab

  • The new policy has been recommended by a committee of Ministers and secretaries
  • Market value of the land would be determined within three months from the date of notification
  • Nod for waiving off the penal interest on interest-free loans given under the draft industrial policy

    CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government on Friday approved the new land acquisition policy in the State, aimed at making the process more transparent.

    A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet in its meeting under Chairmanship of the Chief Minister. - PTI
