Software engineer found dead

BANGALORE: Lalitha Devi (27), a software engineer, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a working women's hostel in Subramanyanagar police station limits on Friday. The police said Lalitha, a native of Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, was staying at Vibha working women's hostel in 1st Block, Rajajinagar. Around 7.30 a.m. Lalitha went to the bathroom and when she did not come out even after 30 minutes, residents of the hostel broke open the door and found Lalitha lying dead. They later informed the police.

The police have kept Lalitha's body at M.S. Ramaiah Hospital mortuary and have informed her parents. The police said they were waiting for the autopsy report to ascertain the cause of death.
