COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu Tourism Department, in association with the Anna Institute of Management, will organise a training programme for tourist guides.

According to a release, the training will be held in the following places with 40 participants for each batch: Chennai, Mamallapuram, Kancheepuram, Trichy, Thanjavur, Madurai, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari, Kodaikanal and Udhagamandalam.

The application, with a demand draft for Rs. 2,000 drawn in favour of the Commissioner of Tourism, should be sent to the following address by November 30: Commissioner of Tourism, Tourism Complex, Walajah Road, Chennai - 600002.

Applications for doing this job-oriented course can be obtained from the tourist offices in the above-mentioned places, by the candidates.
