RJD leaders rejoin JD (U)
K. Balchand
PATNA:
Two Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders, Shivanand Tiwari and Bhola Prasad Singh, on Saturday rejoined the Janata Dal (United) on Saturday.
At a press conference here, Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar issued the party labels to Mr. Tiwari, a former RJD spokesman, and Mr. Singh.
Mr. Tiwari parted ways with Railway Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad in 1994 and in the company of Mr. Kumar formed the Samata Party.
He was one of the petitioners in the fodder scam case involving Mr. Prasad.
Mr. Tiwari, however, returned to Mr. Prasad.
