MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University is organising a Job Fair at American College here on November 20 and 21 to find placements for students in Asian Paints India Limited, Chennai. The recruitment is open for male candidates only. Those candidates who passed in 2005 and 2006 from the university and its affiliated colleges with post-graduation in chemistry and under-graduate in B.Com., B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics and Statistics), BBE and BCS-Company Secretaryship, can attend the fair. This year's final year students in the same courses can also participate in the fair. The eligibility criterion is that the candidates must have secured minimum 60 per cent aggregate in graduation. PR. Athappan, Dean-Industrial Consultancy, Madurai Kamaraj University, in a press release here said that the selection process comprises aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview. The final interview would be held at Chennai for all short-listed candidates. Candidates must come with three sets of bio-data, two passport size photographs and photocopies of all marksheets, he said. The company is now in the process of recruiting officers for their manufacturing facility at Sriperumbudur, the release said. The timings of job fair on both days will be between 8.30 a.m. and 12 noon.
