HUBLI: Folk artists who had mesmerised people through their performances on the inaugural day of the "Dharwad Utsav" during the "Samskruti Dhara" procession and at the Karnatak College Ground, repeated their feat on Saturday night. Karnatak College Ground and Indira Glass House came alive with folk artists presenting number of folk art forms in a vivid style. Hundreds of people had gathered to watch the performances. The folk programmes at Indira Glass House began with the "Sri Krishna Parijata" presented by Basalingaiah Hiremath and members of "Folklore Research Centre", which would have continued the whole night had the organisers given them time. The urban dwellers had a taste of folk art, which is usually played throughout the night in some of the villages in the State. Earlier students of various schools and colleges presented cultural programmes. Among others they presented the song "Hatccheuv kannadada deepa" and the Naadageete in dance form.
