`Too early to assess role of Government'

PALAKKAD: Nair Service Society (NSS) general secretary P.K. Narayana Panicker said here on Sunday six months was too short a period to assess the performance of the LDF Government led by V.S. Achuthanandan.

Inaugurating the Mannam Educational Assistance Fund mobilisation drive at Ottapalam, near here, Mr. Panicker criticised the remarks made by Minister for Co-operation and Devaswoms G. Sudhakaran against the Kochi Devaswom Board president. "If there is corruption, the Minister should inquire into it, instead of calling people names."
