Haj panel appointed

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi on Sunday appointed a 15-member Haj Committee comprising eminent personalities of the Muslim community.

The Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali and legislators J.M. Aroon Rasheed, H. Abdul Basith and K.Hussan Ali are among the members. Secretary (Highways) K. Allaudin will be the Government representative, an official release said.
