Abdul Aziz wins

VISAKHAPATNAM: Shaik Abdul Aziz of Sri Sarada Vidya Nilayam and N.L.V. Anusha of DAV Public School won the under-13 boys and girls' titles respectively in the district chess championships conducted by the All-Vizag District Chess Association on Sunday.

The top ten: Boys: 1. S.A. Aziz, 2. P.V.S.M. Praveen Kumar, 3. S.V. Srinadha Rao, 4.K.S. Prakash, 5. K.V. Nikhil Kumar, 6. D. Siddhardha, 7. R.S. Sourav, 8. S. Mohan Krishna Vineeth, 9. K.M.V.R. Swamy, 10. K. Rajesh.

Girls: 1. N.L.V. Anusha, 2. G. Aiswarya, 3. Y.G. Harika, 4. S.V. Deepthi, 5. G. Mounika, 6. K. Balabhajuna, 7. K. Sarada, 8. M.S.S.V. Pravallika, 9. Sri Alekhya, 10. K.V.S. Gayathri.

The top three boys and girls will represent Visakhapatnam in the State championships to be held at Tadepalligudem later this month. — Special Correspondent
